Everyone at once

Higher or Lower Naija: pick one of two

Higher or Lower Naija puts two things side by side and asks which is bigger, older, longer or higher. Lagos or Kano, this river or that one, this film or that album. Only two choices, so everyone has a fair shot, but the quick ones still win.

The rules

• Every question has exactly two options.
• You have 25 seconds per question.
• The round is worth up to 1,000 points, split across all questions.
• A correct answer earns between half and all of the question's points, depending on how fast you answer.
• Wrong answers score zero.
• A short note at each reveal explains the right answer.

Tips to win

• With only two options, speed separates the winners. Trust your gut.
• Read the question word carefully: bigger, older and longer are different questions.
• Use the reveal notes. Facts from one question sometimes help with a later one.
• When you truly have no idea, still tap. A guess has a one in two chance, a blank has none.
